Day 1 - Thursday (D)

Arrive in Perth for a brief orientation tour before we check-in at the All Seasons Perth.

 

Day 2 - Friday (B,D)

Depart for Geraldton via New Norcia, home to a community of Benedictine Monks and beautiful Spanish architecture. We then travel to Coomberdale's Wildflower Farm before travelling on the wildflower trail to Dongarra. Arrive and check-in at the Old Mill Motel.

Day 3 - Saturday (B,L,D)

This morning we take a short tour of Geraldton, passing the HMAS Sydney Memorial and the Francis Xavier church. We then move into the southern edge of the Murchison Basin, visiting the historical mining town of Northampton, and then on to the coastal gorges Red Bluff. Arrive and check-in at Kalbarri Palm Resort for 2 nights.

 


Day 4 - Sunday (B,L,D)

This morning we board the Murchison Queen for a cruise up the river whilst enjoying BBQ lunch. This afternoon we go out to the river gorges to see magnificent wildflowers at Hawks Head. Overnight Kalbarri Palm Resort.

Day 5 - Monday (B,L,D)

Departing Kalbarri we head south passing the picturesque holiday resort of Port Denison. Some spectacular sighting of the wildflowers will be seen as we travel through Eneabba & Jurien Bay. A visit to The Pinnacles at sunset is a highlight of the day before we check-in at the Pinnacles Motel, Cervantes.



Day 6 - Tueday (B,L,D)

This morning we head via Gingin to Wave Rock, one of Australia's most incredible landforms. We continue on and check-in to the Hyden Motel.



Day 7 - Wednesday (B,L,D)

Today we head east to the mining town of Kalgoorlie known as the City of Gold. We travel the Golden Mile to view the massive pit before we check-in to the Railway Motel for a 2 night stay.

 

Day 8 - Thursday (B,L,D)

Today we encounter the golden tale of discovery through the tracks of time at the
popular Kalgoorlie Museum. After lunch we travel from exploration to exhilaration
at the Mining Hall of Fame, watch a gold pour and take a tour underground.

 

Day 9 - Friday (B,L,D)

Travelling south through the mining town of Norseman, we visit Cape le Grand N.P. to see the beautiful Bay of Isles. We then take the scenic coastal loop round into Esperance where we check-in at the Hospitality Inn for an overnight stay.

 

Day 10 - Saturday (B,L,D)

This morning we take in the sights of Esperance including the salt-tolerant Pink Lake before travelling through the Stirling Ranges. Enjoy lunch at the fascinating Yongergnow Mallee Fowl Centre, then continue on to Albany and check-in at the Dog Rock Motel for an overnight stay.

 

Day 11 - Sunday (B,L,D)

We start our day with a visit to The Gap, a sheer drop to the waves, and then take a wildflower walk around the wind farm, visit Mt Clarence and on to the Sandalwood Factory. This afternoon we take the tree top walk, featuring the Bi-Centennial Tree, then continue to Pemberton to check-in to The Pemberton Hotel for an overnight stay.

 

Day 12 - Monday (B,L,D)

This morning we head for the Beedelup Falls and then travel through some interesting small country towns. We break for lunch at Balingup and continue on through the fruit growing town of Donnybrook, arriving at Perth for 2 nights at Miss Maud's Swedish Hotel.

 

Day 13 - Tuesday (B,L,D)

This morning we take the city sights tour of Perth, passing the WACA, the new Perth Development, Northbridge and the Bell Tower. We cruise on the Swan River to Fremantle for some free time, followed by a tour of this magnificent port city. Return to Perth by coach via the beaches and Kings Park Botanic Gardens before returning to Miss Maud's for our sumptuous seafood smorgasbord finale dinner.


Day 14 - Wednesday (B)

Enjoy an early breakfast before being transferred to the airport for our flight back home.
