Wonderland By Night
Day 1 – Sunday (Supper)
Upon touch down you are welcomed to Norfolk Island and transferred to your accommodation at The South Pacific Hotel. This evening enjoy a light supper on arrival at your hotel.
Day 2 – Monday (B,MT,L,D)
This morning we take the Half-Day Island Tour, introducing you to Norfolk’s beautiful scenery, rich history, and heritage. Visit historic Kingston, Emily Bay, the convict buildings. Marvel at the Melanesian Chapel and enjoy the views from Cascade and Anson Bay. A bit of fun at our language class to learn some of the unique Norfolk language brought to the island by the Pitcairners. Tonight we enjoy a Pacific Island Feast at a traditional Norfolk home.
Day 3 – Tuesday (B,MT,L,D)
This morning we join Christian’s 4WD Tour that will take you through private properties featuring spectacular scenery, native flora & bird-life. This afternoon discover the fascinating Georgian settlement at Kingston, wander through the cemetery, The Old Military Barracks and other convict ruins. Tonight enjoy the Island Style Fish Fry perched on top of one of Norfolk’s majestic cliff tops.
Day 4 – Wednesday (B,L,D)
This morning enjoy the Breakfast Bushwalk and see some of Norfolk Island’s lush green rain forests and spectacular coastline. (Note: Anyone not wanting to do the walk can be transferred direct to Anson Bay for the BBQ Breakfast). Free afternoon for leisure or shopping and tonight we meet locals and families on an exclusive Progressive Dinner Party.
Day 5 – Thursday (B,L,D)
This morning we take the Glass Bottom Boat Cruise and the afternoon takes us on the Artist’s Trail and meet local artists in their creative studios, then visit the magnificent 360 degree panoramic painting at the Cyclorama. This evening dine at Dino’s at Bumboras which is located in a beautifully restored old house and has a strong Italian influence.
Day 6 – FrIday (B,MT,L,D)
We take the Culla & Co Horse & Carriage Tour with the big beautiful Clydesdale horses. Tonight get ready for the `Night as a Convict’ theme night. Uniforms for this evening will be provided, so get ready for an epic night of laughter, games and convict mayhem.
Day 7 – Saturday (B,L,AT,D)
We take the Island Culture Tour, to experience some of the unique cultural aspects handed down through mutineer ancestors and their Tahitian wives. An early Poolside BBQ at the Hotel for dinner before we see Wonderland By Night, an enchanting illuminated walk with Archie the Poet.
Day 8 – Sunday (B)
Take advantage of that wonderful cooked breakfast one last time before you leave. Sadly your time here has come to an end, this time anyway. SEE YORLYE GANE!
