Day 1 – THURSDAY 17TH JANUARY 2013 (L,D)
Departing approximately 7am from Roma Street, Brisbane we cross the Great Dividing Range, breaking at Bestbrook Mountain Resort for morning tea. We continue west to Goondiwindi breaking for lunch before heading south to Moree for an overnight stay at the Artesian Spa Motel which boasts 3 onsite naturally hot Artesian Thermal Baths.
Day 2 – FRIDAY 18TH JANUARY 2013 (B,MT,L)
Today we head for the country music capital of Tamworth! Upon our arrival into Tamworth, you can feel the atmosphere and buzz of this famous festival. If you wish to book and pre-purchase tickets for a special concert, you can phone the Tamworth Information Centre (Ph: 02 6767 5300) to arrange your tickets. We arrive and check-in at the All Seasons Hotel, Tamworth for a 3 night stay. Attend the free opening night concert at Bicentennial Park. A packed supper will be supplied for those wishing to attend the concert.
Days 3,4 & 5 – SATURDAY, SUNDAY & MONDAY 19TH, 20TH & 21ST

Three days to enjoy the talents, sights and sounds of the Tamworth Country Music Festival, it’s casual, it’s got stars and Golden Guitars! There are plenty of free concerts in stores, local clubs and arcades, as well as talented buskers, line dancing, and bush poets. The Coca-Cola concerts in the Park run daily (11am to 4pm) all under shaded cover. Late Monday afternoon we continue on to Armidale for an overnight stay at Quality Hotel Powerhouse.
Day 6 – TUESDAY 22ND JANUARY 2013 (B,MT,L)
Departing Armidale this morning we travel to Guyra for a brief look at the Lamb & Potato festival markets, before making our way to Warwick where we break for lunch before our descent back into Roma St, Brisbane.
